We are waiting for spring,  longing for the warmer weather to arrive, anticipating flowers bursting with riotous color.  Although we have to wait (yes, four inches of snow today) we know without a doubt it will come.

We have the same certainty of the forgiveness of ours sins from our Heavenly Father.

Waiting for Spring-daffodils with snow

Because Jesus paid for our sins by dying on the cross for us we can be confident that forgiveness is ours.  God’s Word has told us this, my certain hope!

3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins,
   Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness,
so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

5 I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope. Psalms130:3-5~~~ Waiting to sit on the front porch! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I love the picture of the dead flowers and then the surprise of the green plants coming up. Great reminder that God is always a step ahead of us, preparing the way.
